Terms of Service

By creating an account, authenticating via Google Sign-In, connecting a third-party cloud storage provider, or using any feature of DixDrive ("Service," "Software," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you") enter into a binding legal agreement governed by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to all terms and conditions herein, you must immediately refrain from accessing or using DixDrive.

Google Sign-In Only: DixDrive uses Google Sign-In as its exclusive authentication mechanism. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your Google account. All actions performed under your authenticated session remain your legal responsibility.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase paid subscriptions. Users aged 13 to 17 may use DixDrive only under parental or legal guardian supervision.

Control Plane & Zero File Storage: DixDrive operates strictly as a multi-cloud control plane, search indexer, and orchestration tool. We store file metadata (such as filenames, sizes, MIME types, and folder paths) rather than persistent file content. Your files remain stored in your underlying cloud accounts.

Direct Transfers & Transient Streaming: File uploads, downloads, and sync operations occur directly between your client device and your connected third-party cloud accounts where supported, or transiently stream through our API without disk persistence.

Independent Service: DixDrive is an independent software service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Dropbox Inc., or Box Inc.

Provider Terms: You remain solely responsible for adhering to the respective Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policies, and storage quota limitations of all cloud accounts you connect to DixDrive.

No Storage Limit Bypass: DixDrive does not pool or bypass provider storage quotas. Uploads are routed into individual connected accounts based on available quota and your configured routing policies.

You agree not to misuse or abuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to probe, scan, or breach system security or rate-limiting safeguards.
• Distributing malware, spyware, ransomware, or illegal content through your cloud accounts.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of proprietary services.
• Reselling, leasing, or commercial exploitation of DixDrive without written authorization.

Yearly Subscription Tiers: DixDrive offers a Free tier (up to 5 connected accounts) and paid yearly subscription tiers (Basic, Plus, Pro, Power) unlocking expanded connected account limits.

Payment Processing via bKash: Paid subscriptions are billed annually in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) via the official bKash merchant gateway. There are no recurring automatic charges without user confirmation. Renewal reminders are provided 14 days and 3 days before expiration.

Grace Period & Account Priority: If a paid plan lapses, an account enters a 14-day grace period. After the grace period, extra accounts beyond the free allowance are placed in read-only status based on your priority preferences. Your files in third-party clouds are never deleted by DixDrive.

User Content Rights: You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all files, documents, and media managed through DixDrive. We claim no ownership over your personal files.

DixDrive IP: All user interfaces, software code, branding, logos, trademarks, and visual designs remain the exclusive intellectual property of DixDrive.

DIXDRIVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIXDRIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING THIRD-PARTY CLOUD OUTAGES OR ACTIONS IMPOSED DIRECTLY BY THIRD-PARTY CLOUD PROVIDERS.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
